Edgar Allen Boh

Boh

It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom, land of “O”,
That a fellow there lived whom you may know
By the name of Mister Boh;–
And this fellow he lived with no other thought
Than to quench and be drunk by bros.
It was a beer and I was thirsty,
In this kingdom, land of “O”
But we loved with a love that was more than love–
I and my National Boh–
With a love that the winged ravens of heaven
Coveted me and Boh.

And this was the reason that, long ago,
In this kingdom, land of “O,”
A wind blew out of a cloud by night
Chilling my National Boh;
So that its flavor truly bloomed
And the crabs and beer did flow,
To drink it up at a ball game
In this kingdom, land of “O.”

  1. other works by Edgar Allen Bro:

The Fall of the Frat House of Usher
    The Ravens(poem)

Such a broem is typical of a guy who had to leave UVA for not paying his gambling debts.
